I’m having difficulty bleeding air from the heater circuit part of the water cooling. Engine part is ok but no heater due to air lock. Any ideas would be appreciated. Sorry I don’t speak or read German.

Welcome Martinpk222, to Forum.

First tell us which type of water circulation do you have. There was 4 main typs and different up-grad versions ( search function top right ) . To dedicate your system tell your Vin Number and/or show pictures of the opened service flap on front nose and pictures of the left engine side+ top view.

If you can localize the area as heating circle, remove all hoses from metal tubes, because there is rust between tubes and hoses-so air sucking in, also remove and check the black heating valve under dashbord left side, by see-through check if white sealing shim is damaged and particular drops running at regulate shaft out- so air bubbles also can get in system. very seldom the heater it self get air-unseal- more leaking water.

Note: if you swapped the cooling liquide completly , it takes some time to get all bubbles out of system...

Hi it is version D I believe. With by pass valve on thermostat installed. It also has only the expansion tank under the hood at fro t of vehicle. I have disconnected many lines and filled with coolant before running. I will check to make sure all hoses are sealed too.
I will get pictures soon.

Hello Martinpk222,

ok, by VIN it is a P93 Execution ; station waggon, Intercooler with Auto Box,RHD, with Version D water circulation -the last one, including pre-running E-Pump with bybass system, watch to for system D shematic here
https://www.puch.at/en/products-spare-p ... t-pipes-p/
https://www.puch.at/en/products-spare-p ... servoir-p/
https://www.puch.at/en/products-spare-p ... rmostat-p/
https://www.puch.at/en/products-spare-p ... nt-supply/

for your model you have to search after pre-setted sign "P" at all groups, be carful there are differents in bloc https://www.puch.at/en/products-spare-p ... servoir-p/ it shows the same shematic like RHD , but part numbers are LHD- no RHD P93 free parts book online available.

To reduce translation problems or disproportion , it make sence to limit the search by telling the tabel of contents or better construction group ( OEM spare part system) :smoke:

https://www.puch.at/en/products-spare-p ... nt-supply/ check all shown black painted hoses for setting ( refit all screw crap (hose clip number´s 3) ) and check pipes 22 +23 before for under-rusting in hose setting areas (some are rusted through below)

For the heating regulation valve group are no pic´s available ;it is this one ( pics shows one with loosing four outside cramps ) https://www.ebay.de/itm/Mercedes-G-W460 ... Sw~zde3SYQ check exactly the white shaft for dropping water, water running lanes..much air get´s in but low water loosing. note or photograph direction before dissasamble ( flow direction !) arrow sign
