Ja, und dann noch auf Links Umbauen .
@stewartuk
Why does a fire service sells this car with only 15 years old? There a lot of call outs you need a small 4x4 and there is nothing new on the market that could compete with this Pinzgauer. Young people in command which have no clue? Or this fire Service is allowed to buy a big shiny tender if they sell 2 older cars?

Lorenz
Who knows why they have decided to get rid of them. Maybe it is an opportunity to sell them to rich Pinzgauer fans. Maybe Arnie will want another. One of the problems is safety. The army don’t care for the soldiers and have many vehicles without airbags but the fire service are different.
It’s a shame because they are really good cars and there is nothing on the market. The ineos grenadier maybe be good and steyr have been involved

As I'm a firefighter myself I can tell you that the Airbags might not be the big issue. Or at least not at existing vehicles.
Also the european armys set the safety standards higher. You can compare the benches of an Army truck on the cargo bed 30 years ago and now. Now it's luxory liner .
I'm well informed about the Grenadier but this won't be a Forward controlled vehicle so far. You won't find the space to build a vehicle like a 6x6 Pinzgauer. You have to take 4x4 Sprinters which are not really made for offroad, exspecially the front axle is shit.
Maybe the Graelion could do it, but it's much wider and higher too:
